Banana
Anti Wrinkle Cream
Mash a ripe banana and apply to the skin like a cream lotion. Rub vigorously into the skin and leave the banana cream on the skin for at least 15 minutes. Rinse clean with warm water. You will feel great and your skin will tingle with renewed vitality. Use as often as you like. You can apply mashed banana to the skin daily, as it is said to be a natural wrinkle inhibitor.- Milk and Sugar Skin Scrub
You can make your own facial scrub at home with ordinary sugar and milk. Simply mix a small amount of milk with 2 tablespoons of sugar until you form a paste. Gently rub on your face or other skin area you want to exfoliate. Leave for a few minutes and rinse off. This particular skin treatment is as good, if not better, as many expensive exfoliating cleansing lotions. - Milk and Honey Skin Bath
You may not be able to afford a total bath tub full of milk and honey as Cleopatra was reported to use, but you certainly can afford a cup. Mix half a cup of full cream milk with a tablespoon of honey. Dab onto your face with a soft cloth and soak your hands in the remaining liquid. This is a skin care beauty product known since the Pharaohs ruled ancient Egypt. They may not have known that honey has natural antioxidant properties which help to exfoliate the skin, but they did know that it made Cleopatra look beautiful. - Aloe Vera and Avocado
Mash a half avocado with the juice of 3 aloe vera leaves. Blend together until a smooth paste forms and apply to the face and neck. Good as the most expensive skin care products and a refreshing toner for tired skin. Aloe vera is a great plant to grow and can kept in a pot on the window sill for easy use. - Lemon and Lime Skin Rub
Citrus juice from lemon or lime fruits can help lessen skin damage from harmful UV rays and help reduce damaged oily skin, dark spots, age spots and sun spots. Citric acid in the juice is a great natural healer for many skin complaints. For less damaged skin care mix the juice from one lemon or lime with a tablespoon of milk and enough flour to make a smooth paste. Apply to the skin, leave on for 10 minutes and rinse off. - Age & Sun Spots
For bad age spots and sun spots, apply the citric juice from the lime or lemon skin rub recipe above undiluted. This won't entirely remove the spots but they will be less noticeable. - Natural Fruit Face Mask
Combine half a banana with half an avocado and 2 drops of lavender oil. This is the perfect face mask and a refreshing cleansing lotion which hydrates the skin for a fresh young appearance.
All these natural skin care recipes are easy to make and most times, the ingredients are already in your pantry cupboard. You owe it to yourself to look and feel great, so why not take the trouble of using natural products to look your best and feel young.
