Home Remedy for Blackheads
Epsom
Salts
Remove blackheads by combining 1/4 cup of very hot water and 1 teaspoon
of Epsom salts with 4 drops of iodine. Mix well and let cool until warm
to the touch. Dip a cotton ball and apply to the blackhead and surrounding
area. When mixture is dry gently remove with a washcloth.
Toothpaste
This sounds too easy, yet toothpaste is one of the most versatile health items in the bathroom. Use toothpaste as a facial scrub. Squeeze some onto your hands or face towel and wipe all over your face, especially the problem areas such as your nose. Wash off with cold water or in the shower. Awesome, inexpensive and toothpaste really works.
Squeezing
You can get rid of a blackhead by squeezing it. A blackhead is a very
blocked and gunk filled pore. Wash you hands and pop the blackhead with
fingers then apply neosporin directly to area. The blackhead will be
gone and there will be no trace of any scaring within 1 to 2 days.
Salt and Vinegar Scrub
Combine salt and vinegar (any sort) into a paste and apply to infected
area. Leave on overnight and wash off in morning with warm water. Do
this 4 or 5 nights in a row and blackhead or acne problem will be solved.
Honey, Sugar & Milk Scrub
Mix 1 tablespoon sugar with 1 teaspoon honey and enough milk to form
a paste. Rub onto to the skin and leave for 30 minutes. Wash your face
thoroughly with warm water to remove facial scrub.
Pore Strips
Blackheads can be removed by using pore strips that can be purchased
at almost any chemist or drug store. The pore strips are applied to
the affected area and peeled away.
Lemon Juice
Apply undiluted lemon juice to the blackhead affected areas three times
a day. Be careful with sensitive skin as the lemon juice could, in rare
cases, burn the skin.
Boric Acid
Mix a half tablespoon of boric acid powder with one and a half cup of
hot water and applying it to the affected area is a popular home remedy
to rid the face of unsightly blackheads and pimples. Apply to the affected
are. Leave for 15 to 20 minutes and wash off with warm soapy water.
