How To Cure Athlete's Foot

Image of scaly feet with athelet's foot disorder. Athletes foot or tinea can be caused by many things such as using public showers, not washing you feet daily or dirty footwear and socks. Always ensure you keep a high personal hygiene level and keep your feet as dry as possible. Athlete's foot, or tinea pedis, is a common skin infection that is caused by a fungus. This fungus eats old skin cells, so making sure your feet are bathed regularly eliminates the dead skin cells.

Treat Athletes Foot With Apple Cider Vinegar
The acid in vinegar will kill the fungi that causes athletes foot and heal the area quickly. Add a few tablespoons of apple cider vinegar into a foot bath of warm water and soak the feet for 10 minutes. Dry your feet well with a clean towel, especially between the toes. Do this for a few days and your tinea will quickly heal.

Cure Tinea and Athlete's Foot With Tea Tree Oil
Tea Tree Oil is a natural enemy of bacteria and fungi and will kill all harmful effects of Athletes Foot. Rub tea tree oil into the feet and between the toes twice a day. Allow to dry naturally before putting on socks and shoes. Apply tea tree oil daily after bathing.

Treat Athlete's Foot with Hydrogen Peroxide
Simply dab on some hydrogen peroxide to the affected area. It may sting at first and you may see it start to bubble. This means it's working. Use this 3 times a day and you'll see improvements within a couple of days.

Clear Up Athlete's Foot Using Bleach
As a home remedy, bleach will get rid of the fungus which caused athlete's foot from your shower or bath, socks and footwear. First thing to do is wash all your floors, bath, shower ect with bleach. Then wash all your socks and sneakers with bleach. Finally Bleach is a good antiseptic agent so soak your feet in a foot bath of warm water with a couple of capfuls of bleach.

Healing Athlete's Foot With Epsom Salts
